The older I get, each trip around the sun becomes less important on its own. Plenty of things happened in 2022, but I no longer can look at that chunk of 365 days and reflect on it in a vacuum. From a child’s point of view, a year is a long stretch of time filled with momentous occasions, life altering changes, and an excitement of what’s to come next.
