I finally watched the Eras Tour…

She's cute, she's silly. A tad bit dramatic, a tad bit cringe. Taylor Swift is a fascinating storyteller and an even more fascinating social experiment. In the Era Tours, she basically presents an over the top version of the last 17 years of her life. Her personal storytelling makes this a hugely biographical piece of work. Maybe I'm looking into it too much, but I think it's kinda cool to look at it this way.

I'd consider myself a casual Swiftie on the weekends (and sometimes weekdays), so I definitely have some nostalgia for some of the eras. Plus it's cool to see what it would be like to go to a Taylor Swift concert in 2014, 2017, and so on.

She's also "The Man". This production is so well put together and Taylor's performance is top tier throughout. It's impressive to move from era to era fairly flawlessly without much transition time. The amount of endurance required to stay that charismatic while singing and dancing and acting. It sounds like I'm fan girling or some weird shit, but I'm genuinely impressed. This thing is 3 hours. That's a lot of freaking work bro.

Okay, now I'll fangirl or some weird shit. It's crazy how some of these songs feel perfect for the stadium. Several tracks from Reputation and Lover hit harder. "Are You Ready For It?" might be moving up on the playlist. Even "Look What You Made Me Do" went HARD. I can't quite comprehend it. It's a mixture of the pageantry and Taylor's improved vocals over the year. All I'm saying is... if they capture the production angle right on Reputation (Taylor's Version)... we could end up with some bangers...

(but you ain't heard it from me)

(casual swiftie on the weekends)

(only sometimes in the weekdays)

It's also a shame that Speak Now didn't get any more time. What's up with that, huh? Does "Sparks Fly" mean nothing to you Ms. Swift? I need answers.
