Hurricane Thoughts
On Friday, September the 27th, Hurricane Helene hit the South East. In my area alone, over 1 million people were impacted by power outages, flash floods, and downed trees.
I am fortunate to have only had one tree hit my roof and upstairs deck. While there is a considerable amount of damage, and the wait for repairs has been undeniably gruelling…
I am okay.
You know?
By the Grace of God.
Saturday night, as I sat in the dark, I wrote this. I usually work late nights, so sleep alluded me.
These are my undeniable scattered Hurricane Thoughts:
Heaven and Hell are both on Earth at all times
We are undeniably animals

Some media presents perfect images that we naively aspire to, only to constantly fall short on.
Propagandists of this media sell these fake images, knowing that most people will fail to live up to these impossible standards, while still striving anyways. The indomitable human spirit is being used against us.
Some media presents seemingly impossible or hopeless images, in order to strengthen the audience.
Sky High is about neurodivergent people using their 'powers' to their advantage.
Spider-Man will always be the most relatable superhero to everyday people.
